Step 1: Schedule a Consultation
Call our team to discuss your project and book an in-home design consultation. It helps to have a general budget and vision in mind.
Step 2: In-Home Design Meeting
Meet with one of our Design Consultants at your home or office. Together, you’ll select products and finalize all details—fabrics, colors, styles, and operating systems.
Step 3: Receive Your Quote
We’ll provide a detailed quote based on the measurements and product selections.
Step 4: Place Your Order
Once you approve the quote, a 75% deposit is required to place the order and begin production.
Step 5: Production & Scheduling
Our team will follow up with estimated lead times. When your window treatments arrive, we’ll schedule installation.
Step 6: Professional Installation
Our certified installers will install your new window treatments and complete the project.
How long does it take to receive and install window treatments?
Blinds and shades typically take 5–8 weeks from order to installation.
Shutters and specialty shapes generally take 8–11 weeks.
Timelines may vary, but these are average estimates.
Who handles measuring and installation?
All measurements are taken by our experienced, certified Design Consultants to ensure a precise fit. Installation is completed by Hunter Douglas–Certified installers.
What are the payment terms?
A 75% deposit is required when placing your order. The remaining 25% is due at install.
What warranty comes with my window treatments?
The Hunter Douglas Lifetime Limited Warranty protects your window treatments against:
What the Lifetime Limited Warranty Covers
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Failure to operate under normal use
- Internal mechanisms
- Brackets and components
- Fabric delamination
- Operational cords for 7 years from the date of purchase
- Motorized components for 5 years from the date of purchase
Note: Repairs or replacements are made with like or similar parts or products.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage, misuse, or product alterations
- Exposure to sun, wind, moisture, or water
- Fading or discoloration over time
- Improper measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance
- Shipping charges, or the cost of removal and reinstallation
